1. Phenolic resin
Advantages: High hardness, moisture resistance, heat resistance, boiling water resistance, acid resistance, chemical resistance
Disadvantages: Poor alkali resistance, will explain when encountering alkali; Has a certain degree of brittleness; The color is dark and the application range is limited.
2. Urea formaldehyde resin
Advantages: high initial viscosity, light color, certain water resistance, easy solubility in water and general solvents, and low price;
Disadvantages: aging resistance, wear resistance, low temperature resistance, poor water resistance and bonding strength; Resin film is prone to cracking.
3. Polyvinyl acetate
Advantages: Fast curing at room temperature, colorless and transparent adhesive layer, no need for curing agent for initial adhesion, resistance to dilute acid and alkali;
Disadvantages: Poor water resistance, moisture resistance, and cold resistance; Moisture absorption, poor heat resistance, and long-term film creep.
4. Dipropylene phthalate
Advantages: Water resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance, chemical resistance, electrical insulation, softness without cracking, high mechanical strength;
Disadvantages: High requirements for monomer control, easy to dry and peel off from the substrate.
5. Unsaturated polyester resin
Advantages: Cold resistant, heat-resistant, wear-resistant, drug resistant, will not shrink or curl edges, high transparency, good luster;
Disadvantages: The formula requires the addition of initiators and accelerators, and the use is complex; The paint film is brittle and has poor impact resistance.
6. Melamine
Advantages: Colorless and transparent, water-resistant, heat-resistant, wear-resistant, stain resistant, high bonding strength, and glossy;
Disadvantages: After solidification, it is brittle and prone to surface cracks; Long term high temperature and high humidity durability have greatly decreased.
