In the category of printing paper, there are various types of paper with different properties and characteristics, such as news paper, relief printing paper, offset printing paper, offset printing coated paper, dictionary paper, map paper, sea paper, gravure printing paper, weekly newspapers, drawing newspapers, whiteboard paper, book paper, and so on.

  1. Embossed paper

Toppan paper is the main paper used for letterpress printing of books and magazines. Convex paper can be divided into four grades based on the composition ratio of paper materials: No.1. No.2. No.3. and No.4. The paper number represents the quality of the paper, and the larger the number, the worse the paper quality. Relief printing paper is mainly used for relief printing machines. The characteristics of this type of paper are similar to those of news paper, but not entirely identical. Due to the superior ratio of pulp material and pulp tapping compared to news paper, the fiber structure of letterpress paper is relatively uniform, and the gaps between fibers are filled with a certain amount of fillers and adhesives, and also bleached, which makes this paper suitable for printing. Slightly different from news paper, although its ink absorption is not as good as news paper, it has the characteristic of uniform ink absorption; The water resistance and whiteness of the paper are better than those of news paper. Embossed paper has the characteristics of uniform texture, no fuzzing, slight elasticity, opacity, slight water resistance, and certain mechanical strength.

Weight: 49~60) ± 2 grams per square meter.

  Specification of flat paper: 787 * 1092mm, 850 * 1168mm, 880 * 1230 mm; And some paper with special size specifications.

The specifications of the roll paper are: width 787 millimeters, 1575 millimeters, length 60m~800 meters.

  2. Newsprint

Newsprint, also known as white newspaper, is the main paper used for newspapers, magazines, and books. The characteristics of news paper include: the paper is soft and has good elasticity; Good ink absorption performance ensures that the ink quickly adheres to the paper; After calendering, both sides of the paper are smooth and lint free, resulting in clear and full imprints on both sides of the printed material; Has a certain mechanical strength; Good opacity performance; Suitable for high-speed rotary printing. This type of paper is made from mechanical wood pulp (or if it is used for too long, the paper will turn yellow and brittle, have poor water resistance, and is not suitable for writing, etc.). Printing ink or book ink must be used, and the ink viscosity should not be too high. When printing with flat plates, the moisture content of the plate must be strictly controlled.

Weight: 49~52) ± 2 grams per square meter.

  Flat paper specifications: 787 * 1092mm, 850 * 1168mm, 880 * 1230 mm.

Roll paper specifications: width 787 millimeters, 1092 millimeters; The length is between 6000 and 8000 meters.

  3. Offset paper

Offset paper is mainly used for advanced color printing on offset printing machines or other printing mechanisms, such as color magazines, picture books, Yichuan paintings, color printed trademarks, and some high-end books, as well as book covers, illustrations, etc. Offset paper is divided into three types based on the ratio of paper pulp: special grade, grade 1. and grade 2. There are single-sided and double-sided options, and there are two levels: super calendering and ordinary calendering.

Offset paper has low elasticity, uniform ink absorption, good smoothness, tight and opaque texture, and good whiteness Strong water resistance. Conjunctival offset printing ink and high-quality lead printing ink should be selected. The viscosity of ink should not be too high, otherwise it may cause powdering and pulling. To prevent the back from getting dirty, anti fouling agents, powder sprays, or lining paper are generally used.

  Weight: 50. 60. 70. 80. 90. 100. 120. 150. 180 grams per square meter.

  Flat paper specification: 787 * 1092mm; 850 * 1168 millimeters.

  Roll paper specifications: 787mm, 1092mm, 850mm.

  4. Copperplate paper

Copperplate paper, also known as printing coated paper, is a type of paper that is coated with a layer of white paste on the base paper and pressed. Made of light, the paper surface is smooth, the whiteness is high, the paper fibers are evenly distributed, the thickness is consistent, the elasticity is small, it has good elasticity and strong water resistance and tensile properties, and the absorption and reception state of ink are very good. Copperplate paper is mainly used for printing picture books, covers, postcards, exquisite product samples, and colored trademarks. When printing on copperplate paper, the pressure should not be too high, and offset resin ink and glossy ink should be selected. To prevent the back from sticking dirty, methods such as adding anti dirt agents and spraying powder can be used.

Weight: 70. 80100120150180200210250 grams per square meter.

  Flat paper specifications: 648 * 953mm, 787 * 970mm, 787 * 1092mm

  5. Draw newspapers

The texture of newspapers is fine white and smooth, used for printing pictorial, picture books, and promotional posters.

Weight: 65.91 and 12 grams per square meter

  Flat paper specification: 787 * 1092mm.

  6. Book paper

Written paper, also known as book cover paper, is the paper used for printing book covers. When making paper from book paper, pigments are added, including gray, blue, beige, and other colors.

Weight: 120 grams per square meter.

  Flat paper specifications: 690 * 960 millimeters, 787 * 1092 millimeters.

  7. Embossed paper

Embossed paper is a type of decorative paper specifically produced for the surface of Zhou. There is a subtle pattern on the surface of the paper. Colors include gray, green, beige, and pink, and are generally used for printing monochrome covers. Embossed paper is brittle and prone to breakage of the spine during binding. The paper has a high degree of curvature during printing, making it difficult to feed and affecting printing efficiency.

Weight: 150-180 grams per square meter.

  Flat paper specifications: 787 * 1092mm, 850 * 1168mm.

  8. Dictionary paper

Dictionary paper is a high-end thin book and magazine paper that is thin, strong, and resistant to folding. The paper surface is white and delicate, with a tight and smooth texture, slightly transparent, and has a certain degree of water resistance. Mainly used for printing dictionaries, classic books, and other books with a large number of pages that are easy to carry. Dictionary paper has high requirements for pressure and ink color in the printing process, so special attention must be paid to the upper art during printing.

Weight: 30-40 grams per square meter.

  Flat paper specification: 787 * 1092mm.

  9. Woolen edge paper

Woolen paper is thin and soft, with a light yellow color and no hairs. Good water resistance and ink absorption. Woolen edge paper is only suitable for single-sided printing and is mainly used for ancient costume books.

  10. Writing paper

Writing paper is a type of paper used for ink writing, and it is required that writing on paper does not swim. Writing paper is mainly used for printing exercise books, diaries, tables, and account books. Writing paper is divided into special size, size 1. size 2. size 3. and size 4.
