What are the classifications of decorative paper?
Classified by purpose:
Gorgeous paper - thin sheet paper, the paper surface has been printed and coated, used for MDF HDF、 Plywood veneer requires the use of adhesive during veneering, and generally does not require further coating after veneering. It is used in areas where high wear resistance is not required.
Polaroid paper - thin sheet paper, printed with wood grain on paper surface, used for MDF HDF、 Plywood veneer requires the use of adhesive during the veneer process and coating treatment after the veneer is applied.
Pre painted paper - decorative paper (titanium white paper), with wood grain printed on the paper surface, soaked or coated with a small amount of resin, with a resin content of 20% to 60%. Low weight paper is used for MDF veneer, while high weight paper is used for edge banding. Adhesive needs to be applied during veneer, and no coating is usually applied after veneer. Its wear resistance is higher than that of fancy paper.
Low pressure melamine impregnated paper - decorative paper (titanium white paper), with wood grain printed on the paper surface, impregnated with low-pressure melamine resin, with a resin content of 130% to 150%, used for particleboard and MDF veneering. No glue is required during veneering, and no coating is required after veneering. Wear resistance higher than pre painted paper. Resin content of 70% to 100% is used for reinforced wood flooring, and the wear resistance depends on the surface paper.
High pressure melamine impregnated paper - decorative paper (titanium white paper), with wood grain printed on the paper surface, impregnated with high-pressure melamine resin, with a resin content of 60% to 100%, used to manufacture decorative laminates (fireproof boards), with wear resistance depending on the surface paper.
