In the process of producing and processing technology veneer paper, curing time is an important processing condition, which refers to the time required for the press to reach the specified pressure before the press is turned on.
The curing time of general technology veneer paper can be divided into resin flow time and resin curing time. During the curing time of the resin, the viscosity of the melted resin will increase. After heating for about 10-20 seconds, the resin will solidify and a three-dimensional cross-linked structure will gradually form. This process has no clear boundary with the flow process of the resin and has a transitional stage of crossing. The complete curing of the resin is completed within 30-60 seconds after the press is closed.
Under the influence of temperature and pressure, the resin melts and flows along the hot press plate. The resin in contact with the substrate also flows and infiltrates, forming a uniform resin layer on the surface. Depending on the temperature, the required time is about 10 seconds.
