When producing furniture veneer paper, there are several conditions that cannot be ignored. Let's take a look at what aspects are included.
The first step is the curing time, which mainly refers to the time required for the press to reach the specified pressure before it starts. In general, this time can be divided into resin flow time and resin curing time. The second is the resin curing time, which refers to the time when the resin begins to crosslink under the temperature of the hot press, and the low molecular weight polymer condenses into a high molecular weight polymer with the loss of moisture. Another aspect is the resin flow time, which refers to the temperature of the impregnated paper surface reaching over 150 degrees Celsius and the pressure reaching over 2MPa after hot pressing begins.
Under the action of temperature and pressure, melamine resin melts and flows along the hot pressing plate. The resin in contact with the substrate also flows and infiltrates, forming a uniform and consistent resin layer on the surface. Depending on the temperature, the required time is about 10 seconds.
