Wood grain paper is a type of decorative paper for the skin, usually made from wood pulp and kraft paper with high strength. Mainly used for exterior decoration or trimming of furniture, speakers, and other home and office supplies. Other uses include plastic packaging, cigarette and alcohol packaging, plastic calendars, decorative paintings, etc. The pattern is printed imitating tree patterns, with a thickness generally ranging from 0. 5 to 1. and 0mm, and a smooth and glossy surface.

　　1、 Pasting of decorative paper:

　　Dilute with general anti-corrosion paste and water, then filter through a copper wire sieve or gauze before use. If there is no anti-corrosion paste available for sale in remote mountainous areas, ordinary flour can be mixed with a small amount of alum (to prevent corrosion) and boiled in water before use. Using thin paste to stick decorative paper is simple and easy to operate. After pasting the dried decorative paper and then painting it, it becomes very sturdy and durable. Furniture made of fiberboard or poorly patterned three fire board can be pasted with decorative paper, and the effect after painting is excellent.

　　2、 Paint for decorative paper:

　　After the decorative paper is pasted and dried, it is ready for painting treatment, but this is the most crucial step. If not handled properly, all previous efforts will be in vain. Because directly brushing varnish on decorative paper will allow the varnish to penetrate into the interior of the paper, resulting in darker colors and a rough, semi transparent surface that is not aesthetically pleasing. So, before brushing the varnish, it is necessary to lay a base to create a barrier between the varnish and the decorative paper. Then, it is necessary to brush the decorative paper with transparent adhesive 2-3 times.

　　Transparent adhesive solution includes:

　　(1) Cellulose glue (woven cellulose), commonly known as chemical paste. This type of adhesive is easy to use, just add water and open it. It also has the characteristics of being colorless and transparent, without bubbles when brushing, and not deteriorating.

　　(2) Polyvinyl acetate (white latex), diluted with water, appears semi transparent milky white when first brushed, and becomes colorless and transparent after a thousand hours. But when the temperature is below 20 degrees Celsius, it still appears milky white after drying and needs to be heated on the surface. It can be blown with a hair dryer.
